Job Title: Medical Professional

Evaluate and manage the health and wellbeing of project workers and staff to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess employee applications for SSS Sickness benefits, Philhealth applications, and Cash Advancements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Coordinate mandatory benefit applications with HRD for efficient processing and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice and support on mandatory benefits, responding to employee inquiries via personal and phone communication channels.
  • Conduct regular health checks on project workers and staff who visit the project clinic for medical consultations, monitoring their health status and providing appropriate care.
  • Administer first aid to patients as needed and refer medical cases to accredited nearby medical facilities or hospitals when necessary.
  • Develop and implement effective health education programs for project workers and staff through engaging lectures, informative kits, and visually appealing posters.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of medicines and medical equipment at the project site, managing inventory reports and ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate hazards and safety risks within the project area, recognizing potential threats and implementing corrective actions to prevent accidents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented risk control measures, continuously assessing and improving workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate as a member of the Project's Health, Safety, and Environment Committee, assuming duties and functions as assigned.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of industry trends, events, and developments to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitary condition of the project canteen, promoting a healthy work environment.
  • Foster open communication with project management, supervision, and the Main Office Safety Department, sharing information and expertise to drive workplace safety initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
