Senior Scrum Master Role

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned Scrum Master with a proven track record of supporting and guiding engineering teams to deliver high-impact software features that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Facilitation: The successful candidate will facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned with project progress.
  • Project Coordination: They will be responsible for keeping the team on track, identifying and removing blockers, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Ceremonies and Meetings: The Senior Scrum Master will facilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other meetings as needed.
  • Backlog Management: They will work closely with Product Owners to refine, prioritize, and optimize product backlogs to ensure that the team is working on the most valuable features.
  • Tech Lead Support: The Senior Scrum Master will provide guidance and support to team members, helping them overcome technical challenges and improve their skills.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An Agile Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
