Unlock Your Finance PotentialGartner is seeking a seasoned finance technology expert to drive business and technology insights for CFO clients worldwide. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in guiding CFOs in building and executing finance technology strategies, with a focus on accelerating ERP to the cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of the challenges CFOs face during cloud ERP transformation, including strategy, readiness, deployment, and post-go-live phases.The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in the finance technology domain, providing advisory services to CFO clients and publishing research on topics such as ERP transformation, AI in ERP, finance technology strategy, and roadmap execution. They will collaborate with a team of experienced analysts to develop authoritative research and advice that addresses the priorities and challenges of CFOs.This role involves delivering high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions with clients. The ideal candidate must remain ahead of the curve across cloud ERP business case building, vendor evaluation and selection, embedded AI vendor capabilities, program governance, implementation, go-live readiness, and post-go-live management.To thrive in this role, it's essential to be passionate about finance technology and the power of cloud ERP. The successful candidate will be an expert in their field, knowing markets, vendors, trends, and process best practices.Required skills and qualifications include 12+ years of experience working in finance department roles or consulting roles supporting and leading large cloud ERP projects. A strong working knowledge of the latest trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities in the finance technology and cloud ERP software market is also necessary. Experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build buy-in for finance technology projects is essential.Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Master's degree preferred.
