We are seeking a strategic operations leader to oversee our network planning team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the design team, overseeing project resourcing, team performance, and budget management. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that improve efficiency and align with company goals.

This is a dynamic role that involves collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring quality outputs for all stakeholder projects, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture across dispersed geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage 3-6 design team leads of varying seniority levels.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while managing onboarding and continuous training programs.
  • Conduct performance assessments, provide regular feedback, and take appropriate performance management actions.
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure quality outputs for all stakeholder projects.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture across dispersed geographies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of operations management experience.
  • Understanding of telecommunications FTTx network design and engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-driven, capable of identifying trends and making informed decisions.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
