The role of a Care and Provider Coordinator is pivotal in enhancing the company's presence within the healthcare sector. This position focuses on providing guidance and support to healthcare providers, ensuring seamless integration, engagement, and collaboration for improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Coordination (80%)
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience for patients as the initial point of contact.
- Collect, verify, and update patient information accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and conduct initial screenings to direct patients appropriately.
- Manage patient records in electronic medical record systems, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat with empathy and clarity.
- Offer pre-appointment instructions and ensure patients understand documentation and insurance requirements.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance teams, and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Provider Partnership (20%)
- Conduct outreach to healthcare providers and present the value proposition to acquire provider partnerships.
- Effectively handle high outbound call volumes.
- Accurately maintain outreach records in CRM systems.
- Track and report key performance indicators (calls, emails, meetings, conversion rates).
- Share insights on prospect feedback and market trends to improve strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in patient coordination, especially within physical healthcare settings.
- 1+ years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong cold-calling and email outreach skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, including HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
