Accounting Specialist II Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to monitor daily financial operations and play a crucial part in our innovative payments platform.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and possesses excellent attention to detail, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

This role reports to the Revenue Manager and involves working closely with both internal and external teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving the accuracy and efficiency of settlements and disbursements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing various daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner, and monitoring customer collections and applying net settlements when necessary.

In addition, this role involves assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, including invoicing customers, preparing backup and journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and a passion for learning new skills, tools, accounting operations, and controls for money movement transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
