Senior Finance Director

This role involves leading the accounting and finance operations for multiple entities. The primary focus is on a U.S.-based business with limited oversight of smaller companies.
The ideal candidate will have strong management skills to handle day-to-day tasks while driving process improvements as the company grows.
- Manage month-end close processes for multiple entities, including NetSuite and QuickBooks.
- Prepare and submit multi-state sales taxes, compute sales commissions, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Process payroll bi-monthly and issue timely financial statements and reports.
- Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Supervise accounts receivable and payable teams, maintain reconciliations, and oversee compliance filings.
- Support lender and bank communications.
- Drive process improvement in NetSuite, particularly around landed cost postings and reconciliations.
- Minimum five years of experience as a controller or accounting manager.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, beyond just end-user knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax regulations.
- Experience supervising accounting staff and managing reconciliation and close processes.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and drive process improvements.
