Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Content Strategist Video Editor to join our team.

This role involves developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that convert social media audience engagement into active participation within our online community, leading to product and service adoption.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for film and television, coupled with an understanding of the language and realities of being a filmmaker, director, producer, screenwriter, or actor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective content calendars to drive business objectives.
  • Leading the editing of video content, ensuring high production quality and strategic alignment.
  • Helping position our company as a leading brand within the entertainment industry, ensuring our tone is authentic and resonates deeply with filmmakers, directors, producers, screenwriters, actors, and other industry professionals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a clear focus on driving business objectives, ideally within the entertainment industry.
  • Industry Passion & Understanding: A demonstrated passion for film and television, coupled with an understanding of the language and realities of being a filmmaker, director, producer, screenwriter, or actor.
  • Business Acumen & Analytical Mindset: The ability to think critically about design and editing choices in terms of their impact on business goals and conversion funnels.
  • Video Editing Expertise: Strong video editing skills (familiar with tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.) with a portfolio to match.
  • Self-Starter & Proactive: The ability to work independently and proactively manage a content calendar and other responsibilities without requiring constant direction.
