Job Title: Business Development Representative, AI Safety

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill the sales pipeline by consistently hitting monthly targets for sales-accepted leads (SLAs) and first meetings booked.
  • Create balance between inbound interest and focused outbound plays to drive growth.
  • Inform the roadmap by surfacing prospect pains and trends to Marketing, Product, and Solutions teams.
  • Raise the bar for safety by helping more labs and AI-enabled enterprises discover best-in-class services like evals, red-teaming, and drift-monitoring services.

 

What You'll Do Daily
  • Qualify inbound leads using discovery questions that tease out technical scope, risk drivers, and buying timelines.
  • Research and prospect targeted lists of AI labs, hyperscalers, and fast-growing apps; craft personalized sequences via internal tools, LinkedIn, and email.
  • Book the first meeting by securing calendar time for Account Executives and Solutions Engineers; prep them with detailed call notes and prospect context.
  • Stay sharp by tracking daily AI-safety headlines, regulations, and tooling updates; translate buzz into relevant talking points.
  • Keep the CRM clean by logging activity, enriching accounts, and reporting on conversion so GTM leadership can forecast with confidence.

 

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in any field, demonstrating reliability and adaptability.
  • Comfort juggling multiple tasks and deadlines while utilizing productivity tools like Google Workspace and basic CRM systems.
  • Customer or client-facing exposure, with strong listening, probing, and problem-solving skills.
