Job Title: Medical File Reviewer/PHRN

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical File Reviewer to join our team. As a Medical File Reviewer, you will play a critical role in preparing case files and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) assigned in the client portal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Case Files: Prepare case files and DBQs assigned in the client portal.
  • Review and Bookmarking of Medical Records: Review and bookmark medical records and create a synopsis to answer medical opinion questions based on the veteran's medical history.
  • Remote Assistance: Remotely assist the medical provider during a scheduled appointment of a veteran by accessing, navigating, and preparing different apps in the medical provider's computer in the exam room prior to the scheduled appointment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), active PHRN license.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Good communication skills to assist veterans, medical providers, and colleagues effectively.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in work schedule changes as needed.
  • Accountability: Accountability for all assigned cases.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team Player: Assist the Lead and/or Trainer in process improvement.
