Tax Specialist

About the Job

This role involves supporting our tax team by handling data entry and assisting with individual and business tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and accuracy in screening and data entry, as well as effective use of Lacerte, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools.

Responsibilities
  • Screen and review client-provided tax documents for completeness and accuracy prior to preparation.
  • Enter and review tax data into preparation software with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and support the filing of federal and state tax returns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive tax and financial information.
  • Meet established deadlines and collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of returns.
Required Skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Effective use of Lacerte, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.
