Project Estimation Specialist

Description

The Project Estimation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate project estimations. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work.
  • Determine material quantities and labor costs by accurately interpreting drawings and performing takeoffs.
  • Review vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy.
  • Input data and prepare detailed proposals using provided templates.
  • Evaluate and optimize project timelines to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.
  • Able to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in project estimation and takeoffs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
