Packaging Project Estimator Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to estimate folding carton packaging projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, accuracy in cost projections, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel software.

The successful candidate will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects, analyze packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize historical cost data, maintain pricing databases, and support customer inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects by analyzing technical requirements and specifications.
  2. Analyze packaging specifications and customer requirements to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  3. Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Utilize historical cost data and supplier pricing to maintain competitive pricing.
  5. Maintain and update pricing databases regularly to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects with a strong understanding of packaging specifications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel software and other related tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with packaging or print production software with knowledge of structural design tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design tools and software.
