Job Overview

The primary function of a Credit Officer entails comprehensive credit assessment and decision-making for mortgage applications. This involves ensuring data accuracy within the system, adhering to established credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate loan applications based on available data, deduplicated results, and verified information.
  • Render suitable credit decisions and confirm them in the system within delegated authority.
  • Recommend credit decisions and forward applications to approvers for confirmation when authority is exceeded.
  • Verify and update the accuracy of encoded data prior to confirmation.
  • Prepare and submit accurate productivity reports in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as finance or economics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail credit review, covering application processing and evaluation.
