Job Responsibilities
  • Create test strategies, plans, and scripts for automated and manual testing.
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
  • Contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Plan budget and labor needs for each sprint and product releases.
  • Work in a dedicated squad team and drive product quality.
  • Ensure assigned testing deliverables timelines are met within the sprint and product release.
  • Create and communicate test reports for stakeholders such as principal engineer, product owner, scrum master, and release management.
  • Liaise with business users, business analysts, and engineers to resolve assigned defects.
  • Maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing to contribute to process improvement.
  • Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Coach and train other team members on manual and automated testing.
Required Skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of software testing experience (Manual and Automation).
  • 1+ year of automation experience with preferably playwright or selenium.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage.
  • Experience working with external parties and vendors.
  • Capability to learn and understand a business and its processes and systems in depth.
  • Experience with Selenium, Java, Maven, Postman, REST, SOAP, API testing, Azure DevOps Pipelines, parallel test execution, web, mobile, and windows applications.
  • Ability to work across multiple products / platforms / squads.
