Data Platform Specialist

As a skilled Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the Snowflake Data Platform. This involves monitoring health, performance, and growth of on-premise and cloud databases. Additionally, you will provide release management support for databases and related applications, ensuring database security and maintenance.
Moreover, you will manage and monitor user access (application and user level) and diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. You will also maintain schema and database objects, demonstrate a strong understanding of Snowflake queries and stored procedures, and optimize queries and warehouse consumption for cost efficiency.
Furthermore, you will create and maintain documentation as required, perform database problem diagnostics and resolution, participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation, and follow SDLC and release management processes. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
