Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a critical role in managing and processing accounts payable transactions. This includes ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies and deadlines, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Management: Process invoices and expense reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Closing Activities: Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Communication: Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and invoice inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable or related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Priorities: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
