Job Title: Site Inspector - Civil and Rock Revetment Works

We are seeking an experienced Site Inspector to oversee the construction of a landmark reclamation project. The project duration is expected to be 2 years, and the position is for 13 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and monitor the quality and safety of construction works on site, including placement of geotextile and construction of rock revetment
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations
  • Review and verify the accuracy of works according to drawings, plans, and reports
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, engineers, and clients to resolve issues or discrepancies
  • Identify and report defects, damages, or deviations from project requirements
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Perform tests and measurements on materials used for the construction
  • Document and maintain records of inspection activities and results
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related
  • 3 to 7 years of industry experience, preferably in rock revetment or similar projects
  • Quality and safety consciousness
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player, versatile, energetic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting
