Financial Planning Assistant - Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to support our financial planning team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

This is a remote role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers. The successful candidate will be expected to be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours, disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work, and reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive SOAs and ROAs
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF)
  • Utilize financial planning software
  • Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
