Job Overview

A skilled Sharepoint Developer is sought after to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing Sharepoint solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating custom web parts, apps, and workflows, as well as building integrations between Sharepoint and enterprise systems.

You will also develop and customize Sharepoint site templates, lists, libraries, and content types.

A key aspect of this role is leadership – you will lead a team of developers, reviewing code for quality, performance, and compliance with standards.

In addition, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

You will conduct system testing, performance tuning, and optimization, providing ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes for Sharepoint solutions.

Your responsibilities will also include managing upgrades, patches, and migrations from legacy systems.

Finally, you will ensure adherence to governance, data classification, and security policies.

This role requires strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to balance design aesthetics with functionality and scalability.

We are looking for a user-centered design mindset, creativity with attention to detail, and an agile and iterative approach to development.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements.

You will provide recommendations on best practices, modern Sharepoint features, and adoption strategies.

Additionally, you will deliver documentation, user guides, and training as part of knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Sharepoint solutions
  • Build integrations between Sharepoint and enterprise systems
  • Develop and customize Sharepoint site templates, lists, libraries, and content types
  • Lead a team of developers
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
  • Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes
  • Manage upgrades, patches, and migrations
  • Ensure adherence to governance, data classification, and security policies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Sharepoint development with a focus on UX/UI
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, OneDrive)
  • Prior experience in UX/UI design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) preferred
  • Strong coding and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Experience in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks and Sharepoint customization
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
