Job Summary

As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of loans. Your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail will enable you to handle loan documentation, maintain data accuracy, and coordinate with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Documentation: Handle loan documentation, including collecting, verifying, and organizing borrower information.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate data in the loan origination system (LOS) and CRM.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with appraisers, title companies, and insurance providers to ensure seamless loan processing.

You will also be responsible for tracking loan file progress, ensuring compliance requirements are met, drafting and sending communications to clients and partners, assisting with pipeline management, reporting, and escalation of urgent issues.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in mortgage brokerage or financial services, preferably in loan processing or origination support.
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar) is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written, are required.
