Job Title: Sales Representative
Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Professional to join our organization. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a keen understanding of the sales cycle, and the ability to prepare and submit competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals in response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotations)
- Analyze bid specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and maximize bid potential
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for the company
- Track and report on bid status, outcomes, and sales performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for bid preparation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on bidding and proposal preparation
- Strong understanding of the bidding process, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
- Familiarity with industry-specific bidding platforms and databases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
