Reporting and Insight Analyst

Job Overview

This role is responsible for extracting and manipulating raw operational data from multiple systems to produce timely and accurate reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

You will work closely with the Account Management team to create executive-level reporting packages and performance summaries, aligning reporting outputs with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.

  • Extract and manipulate raw operational data from multiple systems for timely and accurate reporting
  • Analyze performance metrics (e.g., turnaround time, error rates, volume trends) to identify trends and opportunities
  • Partner with Account Management to create executive-level reporting packages and performance summaries

The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and suggest process improvements and tool enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design impactful data visualizations (charts, dashboards, graphs) for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Maintain a centralized repository of recurring reports and standardize reporting templates across departments
  • Contribute to internal initiatives that enhance reporting speed, quality, and usability

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analysis or reporting analyst role, ideally within healthcare operations or business process outsourcing (BPO)
  • Proven experience working with raw, unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and data integrity

The preferred candidate will have prior experience supporting U.S. healthcare payers, providers, or working in a healthcare BPO setting.
