Job Overview

This role is responsible for creating and maintaining end-to-end material master data in SAP, ensuring high data quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date material master records across various systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, asset engineers, and other business functions to obtain necessary information for creating material master records.
  • Implement data quality-related projects and improvement initiatives to deliver value that impacts the business bottom line.
  • Ensure early involvement in material master record development and drive right-first-time data quality.
  • Operationalize data designs that eliminate waste and promote strong data quality.
  • Ensure disciplined daily execution of operational data processes to enable improvement and optimization.
  • Identify areas for improvement, including root cause analysis, exceptions identification, and ideas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in German language (read/write/speak).
  • Technical engineering/maintenance execution background and experience are preferred.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Material Master Data and MMRs.
  • Awareness/background in process automation and digitalization is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with and influence others to deliver business results.
  • Results-driven and achievement-oriented individual who can move with agility and speed in a fast-paced macro business environment.
