Job Responsibility:

Data custodians are responsible for the safe custody, transport, storage of the data and implementation of business rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements the user access policies specified by data trustees.

  • Ensures that data quality is sustained during technical processing (such as data entry or Extract-Transport-Load operations).

  • Ensures that the recipient of a data extract receives a copy of the business metadata that corresponds to the extracted data.

  • Resolves data quality issues in partnership with data Stewards.

  • Follows change management practices during maintenance of data within a data collection.

  • Ensures that changes to data content and controls can be audited.

  • Advises trustees on technology solutions that support the type of access the trustee wants to provide.

  • Lead the design and implementation of master and transactional data throughout the migration process, including safeguarding, data integrity confidentiality and availability during and after the migration process.

  • Create regular and ad-hoc master data reports to support business decision-making, audit requirements, and compliance.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering).

Work Experience:

  • Proven experience in data management, data governance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data quality standards, and data governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
