This role is for a skilled professional to assist in the sourcing, screening, and onboarding of qualified candidates to support the staffing needs of multiple companies.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will contribute to strategic workforce planning efforts and drive process improvements within the talent acquisition function. They will post job openings, manage applicant tracking systems, conduct phone screens, candidate assessments, and interview coordination with hiring teams.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining candidate pools for high-volume, mission-critical roles, maintaining weekly hiring activity reports, and providing regular updates to HR leadership.

The Specialist will draft and send offer letters, facilitate reference checks, initiate background screenings, coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation, manage onboarding and offboarding processes, and participate in employee orientation tasks.

They will also attend and participate in regular HR and team meetings, maintain a centralized list of approved staffing agencies, advise the payroll unit of caseload assignment, and ensure payroll adds or removes new and terminated employees from master compensation sheets accordingly.

The Specialist will draft and issue all new hire offers/contracts based on job descriptions and role-specific guidelines, enroll all new hires into orientation, ensure all active job descriptions remain posted through a corresponding requisition at all times, and sponsor Indeed ads only for vacant positions.

Key responsibilities include screening all applicants daily, rejecting unqualified applicants, rating qualified applicants to build a strong candidate pool, and ensuring continuity of services during personal absences.

The Specialist will represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach activities, maintain strong relationships with universities, training programs, licensing boards, and community partners, and collaborate with compliance and credentialing staff to ensure all hires meet required qualifications.

They will also conduct workforce data analysis to monitor time-to-fill, turnover, and sourcing trends, recommend enhancements to recruitment platforms, outreach efforts, and employer branding strategies, and assist the supervisor with any work-related tasks as requested.
