Operations Leadership Role

This leadership position is responsible for the supervision and management of staff members, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and monitoring their performance. Directly responsible for aspects of A/R Management and Performance Management, such as collections, productivity, quality, and aging metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead Patient Account Representatives in their day-to-day activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and policies. Interview candidates, make hiring recommendations, and develop action plans to improve staff performance.
  • Train, motivate, and assist subordinates in reaching new levels of skills, knowledge, and attitude. Maintain a work environment that stimulates morale, engagement, and growth.
  • Review and respond timely to requests, including emails, telephone calls, issues, account research, and resolution as needed by staff, management, and clients.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with subordinates, management, and clients. Conduct meetings, participate in conference calls, and provide consistent performance feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Technical skills, including PC and MS Office Suite knowledge
  • Ability to build and manage a strong team to meet performance goals
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Sound judgment and reasoning abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare A/R, Patient Financial Services operations, and compliance regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Inpatient and Outpatient Managed Care and Commercial payors
