Job Title: Executive Financial Leader

The role of an Executive Financial Leader involves providing financial support to senior management in driving business success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
  • Presenting financial results at strategic meetings
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and compliance returns
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and audit queries
  • Partnering with commercial teams to develop budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting accounts payable and receivable as needed

This role requires 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors, and relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising. Proficiency in Sage Intacct is highly desirable, knowledge of Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage. The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous and self-motivated, process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.


Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. They will also have a high level of technical proficiency in financial software systems.
