Job Description

An accomplished accounting professional is sought after to oversee all aspects of financial record-keeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the general ledger by accurately transferring subsidiary account summaries, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
  • Process vendors/customers' invoices in QuickBooks – source external provider websites.
  • Record financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions and PDF attachments to QuickBooks.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
  • Manage accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
  • Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Make month-end adjusting entries for accruals/prepayments.
  • Create Amortization Schedules.
  • Compile daily task reports.
  • Monthly end adjust journal entries.
  • Conduct comparative analysis of income & balance sheet.
  • Produce and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents and reports.
  • Evaluate assigned tasks for completion within specified timeframes and minimal errors.
  • Audit invoicing and payment activities for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop tax data collection systems and maintain corporate tax databases.
  • Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and update tax provision schedules.
  • Digitize accounting paperwork and maintain organized records.
