The role involves implementing a comprehensive communications strategy, supporting country communications and partner engagement, public diplomacy and events, and website management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of a strategic communications plan, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners to amplify their voices and achievements, promoting gender equality and economic empowerment.
  • Organise high-quality public diplomacy events, fostering relationships between stakeholders and driving progress towards shared goals.
Website Management (40%):
  • Review and simplify website structure, audit content, and archive outdated material to enhance user experience and visibility.
  • Develop a content and publishing plan to boost website traffic and engagement, working closely with senior managers and stakeholders.
  • Regularly update website content for accuracy and relevance, maintaining consistent tone, style, and brand identity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communication or related fields, with equivalent practical experience considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering effective communications and stakeholder engagement activities, with measurable results.
  • Proven skills in website content management, knowledge of CMS platforms, SEO, web analytics, basic understanding of HTML and CSS, and familiarity with website accessibility guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
