Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) specialist to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a critical role in building and improving our budgeting, reporting, and analytical processes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with experience working with financial data and systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining divisional and corporate budgets, as well as creating regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis, and recommendations for finance, accounting, and management.

You will work closely with our data team to integrate operational and financial data, enhancing forecasting accuracy, risk-adjusting project ROI, and improving unit economics.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting and business analysis
  • Knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure
  • Strategic mindset with ability to understand financial implications of key decisions
  • Strong communication skills in written, spoken, and visualization mediums

Nice to have:

  • Working toward or having completed a financial designation (CPA, CFA, etc.) is considered an asset
  • Experience working with budgeting & reporting software is considered an asset
