Senior Financial Planning Analyst Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in our organization.

This role will involve maintaining and improving financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. You will analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, supporting the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes using Planful.

You will partner with department heads to understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities, building dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance. Extract and reconcile financial data from Sage and Planful for variance analysis and management reporting.

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will provide ad hoc analysis and assist with Board reporting. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet ongoing needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
  • Strong proficiency with FP&A tools for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with accounting software for GL and transactional data.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
