About This Role

This leadership position oversees accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key responsibilities include leading a team of accountants, planning and coordinating accounting functions, managing monthly financial close, reconciliations, and general ledger analysis.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of accountants in planning and coordinating all accounting functions.
  • Manage monthly financial close, reconciliations, and general ledger analysis.
  • Prepare month-end reports with financial statements and variance analysis.
  • Review journal entries and client GL accounts.
  • Oversee back office finance functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Assess clients' account operations, recommend improvements, and implement new systems.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Identify engagement matters and communicate with clients, managers, and partners.
Key Qualifications Professional Background
  • A strong understanding of financial statement preparation and account reconciliations is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting is required.
