Remote Mentor Opportunity

Are you passionate about mentoring and training others? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as an In-Field Mentor. As a mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting missionaries in their first twelve weeks in the field.

This is a part-time, temporary position that requires strong coaching, facilitation, and training skills. You will work remotely using video calls on a desktop or laptop, providing instruction, counsel, and feedback to missionaries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting with missionaries one-on-one for coaching and facilitation
  • Preparing sessions following an approved curriculum to meet the needs of each missionary
  • Directing missionaries in planning and accounting for their learning
  • Implementing direction and training from the Mentor Trainer and leadership team
  • Attending weekly training meetings and one-on-ones with the Mentor Trainer

As an ideal candidate, you possess excellent interpersonal, prioritizing, professionalism, and leadership skills. You are self-motivated, able to work well with people, and willing to receive and implement feedback. A returned missionary of less than 3 years or current MTC teaching experience is preferred.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • High proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Preach My Gospel principles
  • Ability to train remotely through video calls on a desktop or laptop
