Supply Chain Operations

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for the overall inventory management of assigned product classes. This includes managing and tracking inventory/supply levels to support customer demand, in close coordination with internal stakeholders.

This role reviews and releases material requirements planning (MRP) signals, executes purchase orders, manages supplier delivery and communication, and maintains target inventory levels as specified by key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning monthly shipments and inventory in conjunction with supply chain goals and directives.
  • Developing and executing supply chain improvement projects to maintain sustainable stock availability and reduce excess inventory.
  • Daily projection of results and identification of risks/gaps in achieving goals and targets for the month.
  • Inventory excess and obsolete scrubbing, and production of action plans to reduce and avoid further buildup.
  • Monitoring finished goods inventory and supply levels, ensuring requirements are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Development and execution of action plans utilizing systems according to standard operating procedure.
  • Review of open purchase orders and backlogs daily to execute expediting and schedule push outs of excess supply to suppliers as required.
  • Management of supplier performance through focused supplier communication.
  • Compilation, analysis, and presentation of data-driven information to monitor and control performance.
