Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Corporate Functions team in the TP ICAP Technology division. The successful candidate will work within an Agile team alongside software engineers, working on the next generation of strategic back office applications.

The role involves designing and executing automated tests, exploratory manual testing, and communicating with various team members. The ideal candidate will have experience of the full software development lifecycle, enterprise system experience, and financial sector experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the QA Lead to define QA approaches and strategies
  • Participate in the Agile team from project initiation, including confidently identifying the QA Tasks for Stories
  • Organize work effectively and escalate impediments or risks to delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience of a general purpose scripting language (such as Python, Perl, Ruby)
  • Linux shell or Windows powershell experience
  • Experience of CI and CD in an enterprise environment
