Quality Assurance Automation Lead

As a Quality Assurance Automation Lead, you will oversee the quality assurance strategy across teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our web and software products. You will mentor QA engineers, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to align QA efforts with company objectives. Your leadership will help define best practices, elevate QA standards, and guide the team in delivering a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all projects.
  2. Drive test planning, prioritization, and execution of both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
  3. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions across platforms.
  4. Monitor automation test coverage and execution results, ensuring issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable.
  5. Review test results and quality metrics, preparing leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.
  6. Maintain and enhance the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing.
  7. Mentor QA engineers and foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows.
  9. Proactively identify gaps in quality processes and lead initiatives for operational excellence and innovation in QA practices.
  10. Explore and integrate AI-driven testing solutions to enhance automation efficiency, such as intelligent test generation, self-healing scripts, and predictive defect detection.
Requirements:
  1. At least 5+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing and at least 1 year of experience in leading a team.
  2. Development and execution of test plans and scenarios.
  3. Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework.
  4. Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms.
  5. Source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
