Job Description

As a Freight Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods. Your primary responsibility will be to schedule and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer requirements.

You will monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the delivery process.

In addition, you will coordinate load assignments and track the status of deliveries to ensure timely service, managing customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to scheduling or deliveries.

Utilizing dispatching software and tracking systems, you will maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding transportation and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer requirements
  • Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers
  • Maintain communication with drivers to provide assistance and solve any issues that may arise during transit
  • Coordinate load assignments and track the status of deliveries to ensure on-time service

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in freight coordination, logistics, or fleet management
