cargo representative

The Cargo Representative is responsible for handling the acceptance, documentation, tracking and coordination of cargo shipments. This role ensures that shipment are processed efficiently , comply with safety and regulatory requirements, and are delivered on time. The representative also serves as a point of contract for clients regarding cargo-related inquiries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and acceptance of cargo.

-Process shipping documents ( e.g Air Waybills, Manifest, Cargo Receipts).

-Monitor incoming and outgoing cargo to ensure timely delivery and pickup.

-Handle the labeling, weighing, and measuring of cargo shipments.

-Track Cargo movements and update relevant systems and clients as needed.

-Ensure cargo is stored properly according to safely standards

-Customer Service

• Serve as the primary point of contract for clients, freight forwarders, or shipping agents.

-Provide cargo quotes, schedules, and shipping instructions.

-Resolve shipment-related issues such as delays, damages, or customs clearances.

-Communicate clearly with warehouse terms, drivers, airline personnel, or port staff

-Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all cargo transactions comply with IATA, ICAO, customs, and legal regulations.

-Prepare and verify required shipping documents

-Assist with customs clearance procedures as needed.

-Report discrepancies or violations to supervisor or regulatory authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education:

-At least a high-school diploma or vocational certificate: a college degree in logistics, transportation, or related field is a plus.

-Willing to work in Paranaque and stay in

-Strong organizational and time management skills

-Good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience Required:

-1-3 years in logistics, cargo handling, freight forwarding or airline cargo operations.

-Basic knowledge of shipping procedures, Incoterms, and cargo type

-Computer literate ( MS Office, Email, Tracking tools)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php16, Php19,000.00 per month
