Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Threat Intelligence Lead to spearhead our threat intelligence strategy and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding cyber threat actors targeting our organization, leveraging intelligence on Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) to enhance our products and internal cybersecurity controls.

This role will involve collaboration with internal stakeholders and the wider cybersecurity community to establish our organization as a thought leader in open source threat intelligence. The Threat Intelligence Lead will also lead intelligence gathering and development activities on threat actors targeting software supply chains, study attack trends across the open source software landscape, report findings to internal security teams, and advise the engineering community on best practices for detecting and mitigating potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and own our threat intelligence strategy
  • Develop OSINT tradecraft, principles, and techniques
  • Identify and track targeted intrusion cyber threats, trends, and new developments by cyber threat actors through analysis of proprietary and open source datasets
  • Collaborate across teams to inform on activity of interest
  • Coordinate adversary/campaign tracking
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience as a threat intelligence leader or similar position
  • Knowledge of the current open source threat landscape and computer networking/infrastructure concepts
  • Competency with OSINT tools (e.g., Buscador, Trace Labs OSINT VM, OSINT Framework, Maltego, Shodan, social media scraping tools, etc.)
  • Ability to identify, organize, catalogue, and track adversary tradecraft trends – often with incomplete data
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical content to various audiences
