Position Summary:

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading all hotel sales and marketing functions, fostering a strong relationship between the hotel Sales & Events Division and the CFCMs Marketing Team, and driving revenue growth, market share, and profit optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads achievement of Sales & Marketing goals.
  • Follows through on actions required by the General Manager.
  • Takes charge of revenue management, sales, events, and communication initiatives.
  • Oversees revenue generation efforts in coordination with other Division heads.
  • Roles models Crimson Hotels' Guiding Principles and Core Values.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Hotel Marketing Plan and Events Management Process Manual.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors' products, pricing, and Sales and Marketing programs to proactively address market conditions.
  • Establish and maintain accurate forecasting procedures.
  • Set priorities and objectives for all Sales and Marketing programs, monitoring progress and adjusting resources as necessary.
  • Implement Marketing policies and procedures of the hotel and Crimson in coordination with the Director of Marketing & Communications.
  • Stay current with market needs, competitive initiatives, and program effectiveness through regular involvement with key accounts.
