Job Description:

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the dependability, efficiency, and scalability of our systems.

You are a proactive engineer who thrives in environments where you can automate and improve existing processes. You are comfortable identifying system bottlenecks and implementing best practices to prevent downtime and ensure high availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create automation scripts to streamline processes and enhance productivity
  • Develop and manage monitoring systems to proactively address issues
  • Set up alerts to notify teams of potential problems before they occur
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar role
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including experience with database design, performance tuning, and advanced querying techniques
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or SigNoz
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Typescript
