The role of Staffing Specialist is perfect for someone who enjoys recruitment, talent acquisition, and matching top talent with clients. In this position, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to source, interview, and assess candidates across various industries and roles.
As a Staffing Specialist, your duties will include:
- Source candidates through job boards, sourcing platforms, social media, and other channels
- Conduct interviews, screening, and onboarding of candidates across different functions by accurately matching high-quality candidates with job descriptions
- Manage initial candidate processing by verifying references, experience, and sending offer letters to ensure only top-quality applicants are hired
- Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with the latest information regarding candidates, their stage in the process, onboarding statuses, and talent pipelines
- Work with the Sourcing Team and Talent Acquisition Partners to diversify strategies and source high-quality candidates in large volumes
- Debrief candidates on job responsibilities, expectations, workflows, and routines they should follow
- Identify opportunities to improve staffing, talent pipeline management, sourcing, and onboarding processes
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders about the progress of recruiting top talent for assigned accounts
Requirements for this role include:
- Experience hiring virtual assistants or working with a staffing agency offering virtual assistant services
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Human Operations Management, Organizational Development, Communication, English, or similar field
- Proven experience in talent sourcing and hiring; recruitment marketing is a plus
- Must have experience working as a full-cycle recruiter and sourcing high-quality candidates
- Must have experience sourcing through social media (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
- Must have experience working with at least one applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Has used data to validate the success of hiring efforts
- Must have experience working with online meeting platform skills (Google Meet, Zoom, or Skype)
- Strong calendar management skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication in English
- A tech-savvy individual with a strong analytical mindset and ability to extrapolate big goals into specific actionable plans
