Job Overview

Sr. Manager, Security Assurance leads security assurance initiatives and drives compliance with various security frameworks to ensure data integrity.

About the Role

The Senior Manager will oversee security assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

They will assess and identify gaps in security controls, develop strategies for remediation and improvement, and serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with cybersecurity frameworks and audits, including HITRUST, SOC, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage security assurance programs
  • Oversee external audits and collaborate with auditors
  • Assess and identify security control gaps
  • Develop security standards and policies
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams
  • Review change management requests
  • Assist in contract security clause identification and documentation
  • Prepare regular updates for senior leadership
Requirements

7-10 years of experience in information security with a focus on security assurance and compliance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field

In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards

Proven experience in managing and leading external audit engagements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in project management

Relevant security certifications are highly desirable
