Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a professional to strengthen our financial operations with a focus on construction industry standards.
Main Responsibilities- Support project-level accounting, including job costing and preparing work-in-progress schedules.
- Oversee contract compliance, lien releases, retention, and change order financial tracking.
- Analyze and prepare financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assist with consolidation and reporting across multiple entities.
- Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts tied to project pipelines.
- Coordinate with project managers on budgets and cost-to-complete reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles (job costing, work-in-progress, retention).
- Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
