Job Purpose

The Quality Assurance Analyst will collaborate and support a cross-functional team. This role focuses on creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Test complex software systems in an agile development environment.
  • Help plan and design Test Strategies and QA procedures.
  • Engage in requirements review and story refinement.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure completion of Test Plans.
  • Advocate for quality practices and ensure their implementation.
  • Analyze defects, maintain defect tracking, and validate conformance to requirements.
  • Communicate testing results and status with project team members.
  • Escalate issues and provide insightful input to retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • A minimum 5 years of work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the QA process and collaboration with Development teams.
  • Basic knowledge of Katalon Automation, AWS, and SQL.
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Knowledge to troubleshoot potential issues and database operations best practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make timely decisions based on sound business knowledge and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Multi-tasking skills with complex and demanding projects.

  • Mental demands include following directions, collaborating with others, and handling stress.
