The Insurance Account Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for supporting the success of our insurance operations. This position involves several key responsibilities that require strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Processing
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance applications and Acord forms.
Quote Management
- Submit quote requests to underwriters via email and track responses in a timely manner.
- Obtain quotes from online insurance portals and prepare comparative proposals for clients.
- Maintain effective communication with underwriters and clients to ensure smooth application processing.
Record Keeping
- Organize records and documentation of all submissions and quotes for easy reference.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience
- Previous experience in insurance, underwriting support, or account management is highly valued.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency with Acord forms and insurance quoting portals is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for client and underwriter interaction.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with NowCerts (Agency Management System) and online quoting portals is beneficial.
