Insurance Account Manager Job Description

The Insurance Account Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for supporting the success of our insurance operations. This position involves several key responsibilities that require strong organizational and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Processing
  1. Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance applications and Acord forms.

Quote Management
  1. Submit quote requests to underwriters via email and track responses in a timely manner.
  2. Obtain quotes from online insurance portals and prepare comparative proposals for clients.
  3. Maintain effective communication with underwriters and clients to ensure smooth application processing.

Record Keeping
  1. Organize records and documentation of all submissions and quotes for easy reference.

Requirements:
  • Previous Experience
  1. Previous experience in insurance, underwriting support, or account management is highly valued.

Skills and Qualifications
  1. Proficiency with Acord forms and insurance quoting portals is essential.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for client and underwriter interaction.
  3. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Familiarity with NowCerts (Agency Management System) and online quoting portals is beneficial.
