Tech Talent Acquisition Specialist

We're on a mission to find top software engineering talent for our startup clients.

About the Role

As a Tech Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key part in our search process. Your goal will be to discover, engage, and qualify exceptional software engineers for our portfolio of clients. You'll collaborate closely with our recruitment team, leveraging traditional and innovative sourcing methods to uncover hidden talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with recruiters to understand role requirements, client needs, and candidate profiles for highly technical positions (e.g., backend engineers, full stack engineers, infrastructure, AI/ML, product management).
  • Create and execute targeted sourcing strategies across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Slack/Discord groups, and other niche platforms.
  • Proactively connect with passive candidates and maintain relationships with them.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering hiring trends, emerging technologies, and talent market dynamics to continuously refine your sourcing approach.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing software engineers (at least 2 years in technical sourcing or recruiting).
  • A strong track record with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search; familiarity with GitHub, Stack Overflow, AngelList, and other technical communities is a plus.
  • An understanding of software engineering roles, skills, and terminology (you don't need to code, but you should know the difference between React and React Native).
