Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a key role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure and ensuring that it aligns with our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage scalable, multi-node Kubernetes clusters on-premises, AWS EKS and Azure AKS.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible and Helm.
  • Build and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions and other relevant tools.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging and alerting systems.
  • Ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient and highly available, supporting auto-scaling where applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to enable fast and reliable deployment cycles.
  • Work with IT and Support teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Deep expertise in:
  1. Kubernetes administration (CKA or similar certifications are a plus).
  2. Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Strong experience with:
  1. CI/CD tools (especially GitHub Actions).
  2. Helm charts and package management.
  3. Monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana).
  4. Scripting (Bash, Python).
  5. Linux system administration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) workflows and Large Language Model (LLM) deployment.
  • Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtual machines (e.g. using kubeadm, Cluster API or similar tools).
