Negotiating contracts is a key function of this role. You will work with clients to establish agreements that benefit both parties.

As a Contract Negotiator, you will be responsible for leading contract negotiations, developing negotiation strategies, and ensuring favorable terms for your organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in negotiating complex commercial contracts in the B2B or SaaS space. They must possess strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-energy global environment.

This role requires a minimum of 4 years' experience in negotiating commercial contracts, or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented approach, and proficiency in MS Suite.

Some responsibilities include:

  1. Analyzing and interpreting client edits to our standard contracts
  2. Determining and applying the appropriate edits to client redlines and requests
  3. Communicating responses internally and externally in a clear and concise manner
  4. Leading client negotiations, addressing client concerns, and providing strategic feedback to client's requests
  5. Coordinating necessary escalations and approvals related to contractual risks, compliance issues, and related terms and conditions
  6. Maintaining expert knowledge of all commercial contracting templates, applicable fallback language, and acceptable deviations
  7. Having a thorough understanding of all products to speak knowledgeably and confidently about relevant agreement terms and conditions
  8. Using Conga CLM to facilitate the negotiation and finalization of contracts
  9. Negotiating contract terms consistent with company practice and risk mitigation strategies

Our ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate and fulfill multiple tasks within given timelines by following established procedures in a fast-paced environment.
